Dimbani Mosque Tour
This place of worship dates from 1107 AD. Though disappointing from the outside with only a small plaque indicating its significance, and a rusty unimpressive roof, the mosque retains a tranquil charm within. More recently, the mosque has been modified in an unsympathetic fashion making it appear less old, with a new East wall and a corrugated iron roof supposedly to protect it.
Outside the mosque are several old tombs with inscriptions that bear witness to nobility buried within. Some are decorated with pillars, and one covered in a small thatched roof. Tied to the edge of the tomb are prayer flags.
